about

Harriet is a visual artist and facilitator. Based in Yorkshire. She has exhibited in her hometown of Dewsbury, as well as Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford and London.

Harriet graduated Fine Art for Design at Batley School of Art in 2014 and now  has a studio-based practice exploring the human condition and environment through mark-making and colour. She also works within communities to create public art murals, connecting people to their communities/environment and honouring local heritage and stories.

Harriet LOVES to learn about different communities and their identities which she can then translate into meaningful, site-specific artwork that is relevant to and loved by the community. Harriet's public  artworks are for the community, she strongly believes creative projects can be really restorative to communities!

Harriet facilitates creative workshops. And is the current lead artist at  Maker World Dewsbury, providing creativity for families.
